That Playlist Book Box

{Full disclosure: I am currently a Rep for That Playlist Book Box. I paid for my first box and then was kindly asked to work with them for their next two boxes.}

Hello friends,

I know I’d normally be sharing my October Bookish Wrap Up today but I only read one book during October and you can read the review of it here and I’m still reading through Dune by Frank Herbert and I don’t want to share my thoughts until I’ve finished it.

So I thought I’d tell you about the book box that I’m currently the Rep for ~ That Playlist Book Box

It seems like there are so many book subscription boxes around these days, that it can be so difficult to decide which one to try. But if you want a book box that supports minority authors, is great value for money and gives you tailored playlists for each book you receive, then this is the one for you.

That Playlist book box is co-owned by Helen and Abiola, who are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They both run Hashtag Press and decided that a great idea for a book box would be to combined their love of reading and music and so the That Playlist Book Box was born! The ethos of the box follows the same as their publishing house ~ they give a voice to minority authors, which is something I love and it means you are being sent books that you may not have picked up or come across anywhere else.

The boxes themselves are Seasonal and have set themes around the books included. What’s great is you can either buy a one off Seasonal box {you’d receive the current season’s box} or you can subscribe and either choose to receive two or all four of the boxes. Each box includes one book newly published by Hashtag, plus two others. There’s letters from the authors, along with the playlists for the books and lots of lovely little goodies based around the theme of the box.

Here’s the prices for all three options:

  • One Season Book Box ~ £24.99

  • Two Seasons Book Box ~ £46.99

  • Four Seasons Book Box ~ £84.99

As you can see, you also receive a discount if you subscribe instead of just buying one box. but I’m sure you’ll agree that even if you decide to just buy a one Season Book Box, for that price you’re still getting a great deal. Also to get an even better deal, if you purchase any of the boxes at the moment, you can get a lovely 10% discount by simply entering the code: LOUISE10 at the checkout.

So far I’ve received the Summer {which I bought myself} and Autumn boxes. I love them both; the included playlists are wonderful and fit the books perfectly. The little extras are good quality and unique to the boxes. The books have all been great choices; the ones I’ve read, I’ve enjoyed and the ones I haven’t, I’m hoping to get to soon and will be included in one of my monthly wrap ups. Also if you’d like to an a full unboxing of the Autumn box, just click here to watch the reel I made for my Instagram.

Overall, the That Playlist Book Box is everything I personally look for in a book box and hopefully, you’ll agree and try it for yourself. If you do decided to buy a box, I’d love to know what you think once you’ve received it.

{The Autumn Box is no longer available , but the Winter box is coming soon.}

Stay Safe. Read a Book.
